– Prepare wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
– Combine: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Don't overmix; lumps are okay!
– Cook: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter. Pour ¼ cup of batter per pancake.
– Flip: When bubbles form on the surface (about 2 minutes), flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown. – Serve: Stack them high and top with maple syrup, fresh berries, or whipped cream.
