Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment or grease it.
In a bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
Add egg and vanilla; stir until fully combined.

Fold in chocolate chips evenly.
Spread the thick batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool, slice, and devour!
