The final full week of the high school spring sports regular season wrapped up Saturday.
In boys lacrosse, Midlakes/Red Jacket’s Walker Landschoot racked up eight points in a win over Gananda, while Canandaigua fell in a tight battle. On the softball field, Keira Weber struck out 13 in a five-inning gem for Lyons, and Karina Natale led Newark to a victory with 12 strikeouts and three stolen bases. Meanwhile, Palmyra-Macedon’s girls lacrosse team rolled to a win behind Brinn Castrechini’s six-point effort.

Keira Weber was dominant in the circle for the Lions, striking out 13 and allowing just two hits and one run over five innings without issuing a walk. Addison VanLare led the offense with a 2-for-3 performance and two RBI, while Baylei Reed, Kamryn Bonnell, and Weber also collected two hits each. Reed and VanLare each drove in a run during a first-inning that set the tone. Gananda/Marion was held to just two hits, with Raegan Quigley providing their lone RBI.
